Counselling Session Fees & Rates

The cost of therapy here at Virtuous Circle Counselling will vary depending on the psychologist or therapist you see and the type of therapy. Our therapy sessions are either in-person or from the comfort of your own home via online therapy sessions.

Initial Intake Session

We reserve a small number of slots in our practice to offer as a sliding scale fee. Prices will vary for specialty treatment services. Please contact us for consideration prior to your appointment.

Insurance Coverage for Therapy Sessions

We are accepted by most private extended health insurance companies. You will receive reimbursement from your insurance company after submitting your receipt for services to your insurance provider.

We are an approved service provider for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC). 

For anyone not covered or those who do not have health benefits coverage with an employer, you can claim our counselling services as a tax-deductible health expense

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service.  We accept all major credit cards, debit, cash, and e-transfers. You will be provided a receipt for your records.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours beforehand.  If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged for half the rate of the session.

We at Virtuous Circle Counselling acknowledge Moh’kinstsis, the lands where the Bow and Elbow rivers meet, in what we currently call Calgary. We acknowledge that we are visitors on Moh’kinsstis and acknowledge the Blackfoot are those who named this area as Moh’kinsstis.
