Hello, my name is Justine Jacques.  I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. I came from a small town in Alberta. I have experience working in the helping field in a counselling role for 3 years, and I have been experience working in a helping role for over 12 years. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in New Brunswick and an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology from Athabasca University.

While I was fortunate enough to know that I wanted to become a psychologist from a young age, my professional experiences further solidified my interest in being able to help others heal in a deeper capacity. As a person-centered therapist, I will work with you to help you remove barriers that you may face and prevent you from experiencing personal growth and healing. I have worked with teens, adults, and couples with developmental disabilities, depression, anxiety, PTSD, phobias, relationship conflicts, addictions, as well as other struggles. I also have experience in working with veterans and first responders as well as their families. In addition to this I have worked with many individuals who have experienced negative impacts of traumatic events such as car accidents and sexual assault.

William Fraser

MC, Registered Provisional Psychologist/Therapist

Available for:

Sports Performance | Self-Regulation | Performance Pressure and Confidence | Stress | Anxiety | Depression | Trauma | PTSD | ADHD | Anger Management | Couples Counselling | Family Violence | Addiction | BPD | LGBTQ2S+

Hello, my name is William Fraser. I am a Provisionally Registered Psychologist. I earned my Masters of Counselling from the University of Lethbridge. However, like many things in life, my journey to psychology was not straightforward. Before becoming a psychologist, I spent time being a sponsored snowboarder, construction worker, social worker, and marketer. All these careers were great, but my interest in people eventually brought me to counselling. I love helping people work through the many issues, obstacles, or concerns of life, whether big or small. In fact, I’m honoured to do this work.

But how do I work? At the foundation of my practice is the belief that “offering dignity to a person is above all things.” This quote might sound a little nerdy, but it reminds me to offer a space without judgment or bias, a space where you can feel safe to be yourself. From this foundation, I use a more holistic perspective that incorporates many ways of helping. My goal is to do my best to use strategies that resonate with who you are and what you want out of therapy. We will collaborate throughout therapy to make treatment unique to your situation, background, and personality. It is with this tailored approach that I believe lasting change can be made.

Modality:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Attachment Theory
  • Gestalt Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
  • Solution Focused Therapy
  • Gottman’s Method
  • Somatic Therapy
